Meet Nate Cochran, a 22-year-old artist and owner of North Star Leather Co, located on the western slope of Colorado. He has a passion for the western way of life, with a particular focus on horses. In fact, he spends most of his time training colts, roping, and working as a farrier during the summer months.

Nate stumbled upon the art of leatherwork when he started building headstalls for himself, and it quickly turned into his main source of income. He began leatherworking in January of 2022 and has developed a unique style that produces one-of-a-kind leather goods. Nate takes pride in handcrafting all his products from Herman Oak leather, ensuring they are built to last a lifetime. Quality is his top priority.
